The City of Abernathy, near Lubock,Texas, has started the process of installing two Raum 3.5 kw wind turbines. (See KCBD News Segment HERE) Concrete and electrical have been installed and the turbines and towers planned erection date is August 2nd and 3rd, 2010. (Listen to KFYO Radio 790 Segment) The turbines have been paid for by the State Energy Conservation Office with money from the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act.
Raum Energy releases a new firmware update for their 3.5 kw wind turbine. 
The turbine will now run in High Wind Mode in winds over 33 miles per hour all the way up to 55 miles per hour.
