Jeff & Don and everyone else at Imperial Electric,
I just wanted to take some time to say thank you for all your help and assistance with installing the Raum wind generator at the El Paso Zoo. It has been a pleasure working with all of you and you have shown true professionalism, knowledge and willingness to answer any question we might have, and you went out of your way in helping us doing the actual installation. You definitely far exceeded any expectations we had regarding the support for this project.
Sincerely,
Gunnar Borge
Jeff & David,
Wanted to update you on the Raum Turbine status since the repair about a month ago. I am happy to report that the turbine has been working flawlessly. It rights itself with the wind at very low wind speeds, and at high wind speeds the turbine appears to handle wind gusts better without turning off. When the turbine does shut off due to high wind, it comes back on after a few minutes as expected. For the last month since the repair, I have been getting 10-20 KWh per day, with a high of 25 KWh on one day. So, wanted to let you know that everything is working good, and to thank both of you for your hard work and dedication to get this system working well. As always, the solar continues to work very well...

David,
In the first full month that we had the two Raum wind turbines in operation (April) they generated more electricity than we used. In a 30 day period (April, a windy month) one of the turbines produced 545 KWH. We are looking forward to a decreased electric bill.
For planning purposes, it looks like each turbine will average about 400 KWH a month for the entire year.
For people who live in a windy area (12 MPH average) this is a good way to offset the expected increases in the cost of electricity as well as helping the environment.
Imperial Electric has been very prompt in addressing our concerns.
Thank you very much.

Jeff/Don,
Just wanted to let you know how much I appreciate you and your company. We have been through complex times that could have been very trying on both sides, but you stuck with me, did not leave me hanging. As a result I have a great 4.2 kW solar system that is working like a champ.
Furthermore, your crews were always courteous, knowledgeable, and cooperative. I look forward to doing business with you in the future and would highly recommend your company to anyone interested in renewable energy. My phone number is [214- 923-9946] in case anyone should care to get the recommendation first hand.
Sincerely,
Ron Sloan
Don,
Dave called yesterday regarding the isolator kit. I am delighted that there is a fix. Unfortunately, we now have about 150 goats in the yard and the feeding pen is exactly where the turbine will lay when it comes down. It will be a couple of months before we can move them out. I will let you know when it will work out.
No more GFCI faults ovet the past week! May be it was some gremlin that decided to go away. I will keep you posted.
Thanks again for your great service. I have never worked with a company with such great customer service.

"Jeff and Don's knowledge of wind turbines are both amazing. They have already done all the research and found all of the best wind turbines for small to medium applications that make both energy and financial sense. I was also able to go out and see multiple brands that Imperial Electric, Inc. has installed. I felt very comfortable knowing that they do not represent just one turbine manufacturer. I have always been worried about a company that only represents one product, as I have found it hard to get the real truth about that one product. I decided on a Iskra-Ivance 5kw wind turbine because I have a higher electrical usage."

"I opted for the Jester Package. Imperial Electric made it easy, answered all my questions, sited my wind turbine for best location and was available every step of the way. They gave me free rental on the equipment that was needed to lift the turbine and tower. I now want to install some for my friends. The best part of working with Imperial Electric Inc. was their knowledge of the product, and I saved money by doing it myself."

"I was asked to consult on another dealers installation in Krum Texas. 'The right wind turbine installer is critical in protecting your investment'. I inspected another dealers foundation and found it to be too shallow and not installed to the drawing specifications. It would have had only 6 yards of concrete instead of 8 yards. On top of that, the other dealers 55 foot monopole tower was not a recommended tower. The concrete being shorted was a potential safety hazard for the consumer"

"After calling several Wind Turbine Companies including the Master Dealer, I decided on using Imperial Electric Inc.. I checked all of Imperial Electrics license's and there GL Insurance and decided to use them because they are one of the very few Wind Turbine Companies that are actually a Licensed Electrical Contractor, authorized in the State of Texas by the TDLR to perform electrical work on wind turbines. Other companies claim to have a Master Electrician on staff, but if you check on this website link http://www.license.state.tx.us/LicenseSearch/ you will find out the truth. They are neither a Electrical Contractor or have a Master Electrician in their employment. At this time they only have Apprentices which by law must work under a Master Electrician's supervision."
