On an existing residence the homeowner receives a detailed report showing how to enhance the efficiency and comfort of your home. Builders receive a HERS score which determines eligibility for Energy Star or the IRS Energy Credit. The cost of the audit will be recuperated in energy savings over time.

This score can qualify a home for Energy Star, an IRS tax credit, or an Energy Efficient/Energy Improvement Mortgage.
